Prince took it upon himself to fire me; like I gave a damn. I had mad respect for the dude when his dad was alive but since his dad died it seemed like Prince had gone a little power crazy. I was glad I didn’t have to work for him anymore so I could make some boss moves of my own. I had saved quite a stash since I started working for Big Jim so branching out on my own was not going to be a problem. With a ride or die queen like Lexus how could I not want to be a boss?

After the night Prince barged in my room I decided to get my own place. I didn’t appreciate the way he busted up in my room that night. I know this was his family’s home and Ms. Yvonne said I didn’t have to leave but I felt like that nigga had crossed some boundaries. Since I was living there he should have respected my space.

I asked Ms. Yvonne if she knew of a good real estate agent and she hooked me up with Barbie. When she first mentioned the name Barbie Marsh and that she was a real estate agent I was a bit skeptical. I mean someone with the name Barbie couldn’t have had the brightest light in the pack right? But when I met Barbie I found out that I had nothing to worry about. The girl knew her shit.

She showed me several properties from apartments to condos to houses. In the end I chose 2500 square foot three bedroom, two and a half bath home. The kitchen was made up of all stainless steel appliances. There was a great room and a two car garage. It was beautiful and I thought it would be a wonderful place to build a life with my queen. Lexus was still seventeen but she would be eighteen in three weeks. She also was graduating next week and I planned to throw her the biggest graduation party ever.

I bought the house and I planned to surprise Lexus on her 18th birthday. She knew I was moving out and even though she looked sad she understood. Besides just because I was moving out that didn’t mean we were breaking up. Lexus was the only woman I ever had feelings like this for. My feelings for her were so strong that sometimes I couldn’t even believe love felt like this. As young as the two of us were, could we really have found our soulmates? Could I really be ready to spend the rest of my life with her?

Since Big Jim was killed the team was pretty much divided because Prince’s behavior had gotten so erratic. Chance, Hennessey and Chico had decided to band together with me and between the four of us, we were able to recruit some of our own soldiers.
